Where: Crafty Bastard Brewery
When: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
BEER-STYLE: India Pale Ale
FOOD: Vegemite on Toast (free)
Description: Crafty has taken some Aussie-based hops and created 3 IPAs with them. Their main hop in all of them is the Pacific Jade, which was developed in New Zealand in 2004 and is known for its complex, peppery/citrus notes. Each beer is then dry-hopped with 3 different Aussie-New Zealand invented hops: Galaxy (passionfruit), Nelson-Sauvin (white grape), and Motueka (lime/citrus). Come taste the differences a single hop can make to a beer! And double-dog-dare yourself to try some vegemite after you drink your beer (maybe not before).
